Who We Are
Bigger Than Sports is one of the only fully Gen Z-led and Gen Z-ran nonprofits in the world, empowering student-athletes from underserved communities to succeed beyond high school by using the foundation of sports to build real-world futures.
Because the lessons learned on the field — discipline, resilience, leadership — are the same skills that fuel success far beyond the game.
At BTS, sports are the starting line, not the finish line.
Focused on students during the pivotal transition out of high school, we provide hands-on guidance to help them build actionable post-graduation plans, leading to real success beyond the dream of going pro.
And our programs extend beyond the classroom.
Through community-unifying sports tournaments, where college admissions teams, nonprofits, and businesses provide students with resources and opportunities — and summer camps that combine sports with personal development workshops, we equip students with the tools, mentorship, and confidence they need to thrive beyond just the sport.
At Bigger Than Sports, we utilize the empowering force of education and sports to uplift communities and break generational cycles.
